Guggulutiktam kwath (Guggul tikta kashaya) is a classic preparation of the Kerala school of Ayurveda, which is used for inflammatory processes of joints, bones and skin. The main application of this drug is the treatment of arthritis (including rheumatoid arthritis), spondylosis, but it is also effective for the treatment of dermatitis and non-healing ulcers, skin abscesses, and syphilis. Guggulutiktam quattam is also used to treat psoriasis. In addition, this drug is effective in treating chronic colds.
Guggulutiktam kvath balances Vata and Kapha doshas.
